All users know the new Windows 7 taskbar functionality - Aero Peek, a built-in progress bar, status icons and overlays jumplist-s. Habré even described the technique of programming these functions into their applications. Many standard Windows applications and their 7 uses - including Windows Media Player 12.
For those who do not like WMP, but prefers good old Winamp, now also have the opportunity to take advantage of the new taskbar. This can be done using a plug-win7shell, available here: code.google.com/p/win7shell /.
The plugin allows the user to Winamp-and the following features:
Progress bar showing the current playing track. Yellow when setting paused, blushing when you stop:
Mini-icons play, pause, stop, alone or in combination with the progress bar:
Aero Peek - the ability to display various information about the current track, album artwork, as well as the player control buttons:
Jumplist - invoked by right mouse button a list of recent and often playable tracks, as well as some options are often caused by Winamp:
Author plug actively working on a project, communicating with the public through Google Code and often releases updates. I came across this plugin yesterday and strongly recommend it to anyone Winamp under Windows 7.
